Bar Sanctions for Nifong Only the First Shoe...?

Law professor K.C. Johnson runs the Durham in Wonderland blog, which is dedicated to covering the Duke lacrosse rape case from a lawyer's perspective and in a depth that you'll never find in the MSM. His analysis of the ethics complaint charging Durham D.A. Mike Nifong with prosecutorial misconduct in possible violation of his duties as a lawyer is outstanding. It's very detailed and some of the legalese might be a bit dry for non-lawyers, but it was an interesting read for me. I agree with Prof. Johnson here though, this is a highly unusual and unprecedented move, and things are likely (rightly) to get much worse for Mr. Nifong before they get better if this is indeed only the first shoe to drop. Sanctions and/or disbarment are likely, but even if that happens, that's cold comfort to the three lacrosse players who have had their lives ruined by a race-baiting political hack with prosecutorial power at his disposal.
